On Sizing

Finding the right size.

How to measure

Two simple methods.

You can find your size at home with either of these. Both take a few minutes.

The paper strip

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper, about 80mm long and 5mm wide.
  2. Wrap it around the base of the finger the ring will live on. Snug, not tight.
  3. Mark the point where the strip meets itself.
  4. Lay it flat. Measure from the start to the mark in millimetres.
  5. That number is your circumference — divide by 3.14 for your inner diameter, then read it against the chart below.

A ring you already wear

  1. Find a ring that fits the same finger and sits where the new one will.
  2. Lay it flat on a ruler.
  3. Measure the inner diameter — the empty space, side to side.
  4. Read that number against the chart below.

A note on fit.

Fingers change with warmth, water, and the hour of the day. The right size sits quietly — it slides on with a little patience, and turns without spinning.

If in doubt, write.

Sizing is one of the small things we do better in conversation, send a note and I will help you find it.
