Every piece begins with a conversation. Tell us what you have in mind over WhatsApp — whether it is already clear, or only the beginning of an idea.
If it helps, we can continue over a call, video meeting or an in-person appointment in Singapore.
There is no commitment to proceed from the first conversation.
Begin a conversation02 · Direction & Quotation
We’ll talk through the story behind the piece, how you’d like it to feel, your preferences, budget and any stones or jewellery you may already have.
From there, we’ll propose a direction and provide an indicative quotation.
Once you’re ready to proceed, your deposit confirms the commission and we begin developing the piece.
Quotations are typically held for 48 hours.
03 · Gemstone
For pieces requiring a gemstone, we curate options around your design and budget.
Close-up photographs, videos, dimensions and certification where applicable can all be shared digitally.
Prefer to see the stones in person? Gemstone viewings can also be arranged in Singapore.
A gemstone is secured once it has been confirmed and paid for.
04 · Design
We begin with sketches to explore the form and proportions of your piece.
Once the direction is confirmed, the design is developed further through 3D visualisation or resin where appropriate.
We refine the design together before final approval. Production only begins once the design has been confirmed.
05 · Making
Once the design is approved, your piece moves into production with our craftsmen.
Selected updates are shared along the way, so you can follow the piece as it becomes something real.
Typical production lead time: 8–12 weeks.
06 · The Final Piece
When your jewellery is ready, the remaining balance is settled before collection or delivery.
Pieces can be collected in Singapore or delivered internationally by DHL to supported destinations.
Your jewellery arrives with its Gǔ Jewellery Record and relevant gemstone documentation.
Our relationship with your piece doesn’t end when it leaves the atelier.
Most of the Gǔ bespoke journey can take place digitally — from our first conversation to gemstone selection, design reviews and approvals. For clients in Singapore, in-person appointments and gemstone viewings can also be arranged.
Conversations, gemstone videos, design previews and approvals all unfold over WhatsApp and video call — carefully paced, always at yours.
Private appointments and gemstone viewings can be arranged at the Gǔ home studio, or another suitable meeting point by request.
